crossing the invisible line

there seems to be a fine line between all-day nausea and actually throwing up. for me that line is very fine indeed, and i've tried, really i have, to keep from tripping that wire that causes explosions of barf. i held out much longer this time, which makes me proud, but alas, to no avail. and now down i go on the slippery slope of watching every meal come back up again, all because my body really really doesn't like being an incubator for human life. oh well. my body will just have to deal with it.

the silver lining is that this time around i don't have to smell poop all day long as our current abode is miles away from the local water reclamation plant. that's a blessing indeed. nothing trips a sensitive gag reflex like the reek of stale human poo. at least for me. i guess there might be a person or two out there who thinks it's not so bad. anyway.

i hate throwing up.

this is, without a doubt, the best baby announcement ever.

make a card out of it and send it around, complete with illustrations. just make sure they are photographs using a polarized lens, and not paintings, and you'll be trendy.

This is how you tell us? Did I miss something? Well...congrats! How far along are you?

I hate throwing up too, it's a good thing it doesn't happen very often for me. But I did throw up the other day. Faith was so amused. I was hanging over the toilet when her little excited voice startled me, I looked up and she was wedged between the wall and the toilet wide eyed with wonder. In between hurls I was able to yell "Get Out!". It really is quite fitting that she wants to be a nurse.
