the beginning and the end

i've said so long to the world of MySpace, and hello to a new blog. a new chapter in my life is thus inaugurated. aren't you excited? i certainly am. i mean, after all--no more MySpace! no more annoying advertising! no more bulletins from the ubiquitous Tom! no more gratuitous boobs or friend requests from strippers!

i can barely contain my excitement.

now. what shall i talk about? my day? hmmm. not a great deal of excitement on that end, unless you count throwing up wheat grass juice. strangely (and not too appealingly) it tastes exactly the same coming up as it did going down. which may not be exciting per se, but it was an interesting fact to learn. and now i know for future reference, as do you. consider yourself enlightened.

i'm currently in the process of knitting a very cunning hat. not as cunning as jayne cobb's stunning headgear (which will be my next project) but cunning nonetheless. i never thought i would enjoy knitting, or be any good at it, and yet here i am with a newfound obsession. like i needed another one. anyway, when i finish some of my very clever projects i'll post some pictures. you know. because you care.

not much else to report. kind of a lame inauguration, i know. but i am pretty lame after all.

I claim first comment. I'm glad you've switched, I enjoy this site much more than myspace. And just maybe, you'll inspire me to type more in my blog...
